Welcoming Lee Mitchell
Last Thursday, Needle's Eye gathered to welcome our new Executive Director, Lee Mitchell. Friends who have supported and served alongside Needle's Eye for years filled the room alongside new faces from Lee's church and family. The space was warm, the food was good, and the conversations were even better.
Board Chair Mike Patterson opened the night with remarks, reflecting on this milestone moment for Needle's Eye and the search process that brought Lee to us. Lee then shared his own heart — his vision for the ministry, his gratitude for the welcome, and his excitement for the work ahead. Hannah Gooden led the room in a song of worship, and the evening closed with prayer over Lee and his family as they step into this new chapter together.
Lee joins Needle's Eye as Executive Director at a pivotal moment for the ministry. We are grateful for his leadership, his faith, and the community that has shown up to surround him from the start.
