State of the Ministry 2025: New Building

Why I’m so thankful for the new building

We believe God provided us with this beautiful new building so we could steward it toward spiritual growth, unity, and community:

New Needle's Eye Building

1.  As a training ground for marketplace disciples and disciple-makers (Matthew 28:18-20).

Our beautiful event space provides us increased opportunities to pour into believers and equip them to be disciples of Jesus at work, represent Christ everywhere they go, and invest in other believers so they too might grow in maturity and Christlikeness.  We can host more people more frequently and with greater intentionality.  From Faith & Work Lunches to cohort gatherings to Discipleship @ Work trainings, this space is perfect for our needs.

2. As a hub for God’s Kingdom (Ephesians 4:15-16).

Needle’s Eye is only one part of God’s larger Body in metro Richmond, and we believe we are meant to steward this building on behalf of the entire Body of Christ.  We are thrilled that the Richmond Christian Leadership Initiative (RCLI) has decided to locate its office in our building and we’ve loved hosting Christian-owned businesses who’ve used our new space for owner’s meetings and strategic off-sites.  We desire for this space to be of great use to churches, ministries, and Christian-led businesses and non-profits.  We want the building to be a hub of prayer, strategizing, and collaborating of how we can glorify God together and make His gospel and love known throughout metro Richmond.

3. As a gathering space for Christ-Centered community (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Our new building includes multiple meeting rooms to host NEM small groups and Christian Presidents Groups, comfortable seating for impromptu connections, and dedicated space for prayer and reflection.  We even have flexible workspace where you can pop in, answer some emails, make some calls, and still connect with our staff and other believers.

One more huge way God blessed us with this building was through the opportunity to purchase, renovate, and furnish the building without debt.  What a mercy and what a testimony to the generosity of all of our financial partners and especially those who contributed to the Capital Campaign.  Praise Him and thank you all!

For the glory of God and the blessing of His people throughout metro Richmond,

Jordan
