The Spirit of Our Politics: An Evening with Michael Wear

  • The Commons (formerly U-Turn) 2101 Maywill Street Richmond, VA, 23230 United States (map)

Jordan Maroon (Executive Director) shares why Needle’s Eye is supporting an event about politics, and how this event can be transformational in making your politics relationship-centered.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Our political climate is impacting our families, churches, communities, and even workplaces. It leaves people discouraged, angry, bitter, and hopeless, but there is a better, more loving and more godly way to engage.

Keynote speaker Michael Wear is the CEO of The Center for Christianity & Public Life and author of the upcoming book, "The Spirit of our Politics: Spiritual Formation and the Renovation of Public Life." He believes Christians can engage faithfully in politics, resulting in healing rather than division, kindness rather than hatred, and hope rather than despair.

Join us for an evening of conversation on how we got to this political climate and leave with a fresh perspective on how Christians can be part of a better, more Christ-like way forward.
