Come join this multigenerational women’s group where it is safe to love and be loved, to know and be known as we learn how to be strong in the Lord together.
Pastor Max Lucado offers refreshing assurance for anyone facing trials. Do you crave some hope for these tough times? Max reminds participants that God doesn't promise that getting through trials will be quick or painless. Consider the story of Joseph - tossed in a pit by his brothers, sold into slavery, and wrongfully imprisoned. God took what was meant for evil and used it for good. He is in the business of redeeming the broken. He was then, He is still.

Spotlight on Cathy Tankersley: Cathy Tankersley originally comes from the blue collar town of Granite City, Illinois. Recruited by Signet Bank, she made a career move to Richmond in 1989. In 2004 she stepped out in faith and started a small group. Years later she acknowledges it was the best decision of her life. Small group ministry has provided her with her deepest friendships, countless wonderful memories, timely lessons, and a deeper walk with the Lord. One of her favorite scriptures is Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
