Career Summary
Ms. Parham is an attorney-at-law specializing in commercial
real estate. She began her practice here in Richmond
with Florance, Gordon and Brown, P.C., then moved to
Williams Mullen before leaving full-time practice to
become the Director of Womens Ministry at Needles
Eye in October 2002. She is a member of the Virginia State
Bar.
Education
Ms. Parham holds a B.A. with Distinction in English
Literature from the University of Virginia (1993) and a
J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law (1996).
She has received certification as a Biblical counselor
from the Christian Counseling and Training Center in Richmond.
Community Activities
From a personal perspective, Ms. Parham is an active
member of the Junior League of Richmond, an organization
of women committed to promoting voluntarism. She also
served as an elder at Third Presbyterian Church, where
she chaired the
Small Group Ministry Team, served on
the Committee on Preparation for Ministry for the Presbytery
of the James (PCUSA), and currently serves on the leadership team for Alpha.
Ms. Parham was involved with Needles Eye for several
years before joining the staff. She is a former luncheon
speaker and Advisory Board member, and she currently serves on
the steering committee for Spiritual Shots.
