One of my favorite questions that came up was regarding corporate culture- in a competitive environment how do you keep up with the pack without running over people? Thoughts?

I enjoyed the consistency in the 3 speakers on how to present yourself as a Christian in the work place without offending. Maintaining values that represent who you are.

Hi, jman!

Yes, I mentioned gracenomics. The book, though, that I would more strongly recommend you read is Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince. He's a pastor in Singapore and can be heard ministering on TBN. His book is biblically based and truly helps one understand very simply the grace of God. By our understanding His grace, we can learn how to be more gracious ourselves towards all. That is the one I would strongly recommend.

Steve, I greatly appreciated your well-prepared remarks on leadership... I would like your reflections on the following concept from a Christian leadership book titled "Peace Seekers"... the two values that best express the character of an excellent leader are GRACE and PEACE, as graceful people who are at peace with who they are made to be.

As a Christian business-person, I want to be a part of what God is doing, and this means, to me, being a part of NEM and the Gideons... any other advice of organizations/listserves that are encouraging to you personally and that help advance the kingdom. (forcefully!)

We do sometimes partner with other organizations to do outreach. I don't know that we've specifically done anything with Gideon's, but several of the folks involved with NEM have worked with Gideon's in various ways, sometimes overseas.
